Bind-Offs

Finish strong. These videos are worked in English (throwing) style, with the working yarn held in the right hand.

Knitting Bind Off

One of the two basic bind offs, and usually the first one knitters learn. It’s worked from the knit side of stockinette fabric. Its companion, the purl bind off, is used on the purl side. Watch on YouTube

Seed Stitch Bind Off

A great way to bind off seed stitch or 1×1 rib (k1, p1). The edge is somewhat stretchy and blends right in with the pattern. Watch on YouTube
