Colorwork Cables
A quick start so we can get to the cables. Please complete before the workshop.
Homework
With the darker of your two yarns, CO 40 sts.
Row 1: Purl.
Row 2: Knit.
Row 3: Purl.
Leave the stitches on the needle with the yarn attached, and have both yarns wound and ready to use.
Bring to the workshop
- Your homework, yarn still attached
- 2 colors of worsted-weight yarn (high contrast recommended)
- US 7 and US 8 needles, flat or circular (16 inches or longer)
- Cable needle
- The usual bag of knitting notions
